Life can be busy, messy, unpredictable and sometimes stressful. Change is often the one constant and as life changes we need to be mentally flexible to keep pace.

- don’t receive the communication you need or deserve
- don’t receive appreciation or feedback
- think your career path is ambiguous or about to change
- mis-trust what you see around you
- feel a pervasive uncertainty
- have sat on the treadmill too long
Led by some of these situations, research shows that we spend a minimum 50% of our time with our minds wandering away from the here and now. We are distracted (by future problems/worries or past experiences which didn’t go to plan). We can become disengaged from our team, ourselves and our purpose. And this can lead to distress and struggle.
